Entry Waiver Overview
If you must travel to the U.S. before you have received a pardon you will need to apply for a U.S. Entry Waiver. It is a legal document issued by the U.S. government allowing you to freely enter the United States. If you have ever been convicted of any criminal offence, including a serious motor vehicle offence you are automatically barred from entering the U.S. even if you are on your way to a third country. A U.S. Entry Waiver is issued by the Department of Homeland Security. Any one who has been denied entry to the U.S. because of a criminal record and wants to enter the United States requires this document to travel.
